I have been offered a place at John Moores to study Public Health and a place at Hope to study Health and Wellbeing and Social Policy.

Wellbeing is my passion, and I'm not naturally great at maths or science.
But... JMU seems to have the better rep and I've been told I would make more contacts there and that the teaching standards are a bit higher.

I also don't know what degree would lead to better opportunities? So...is it wrong to choose the degree I really want to do, if the prospects aren't as good? Should I listen to what people are saying about Hope?

I'm scared of making the wrong decision!

    Any advice?

As a student currently at Hope in that department, I can say it is by far the best teaching I have ever received. The lectures are amazing and couldn't do anything else for you. The class size is small like under 50 in social policy and under 20 in health and wellbeing if that suits the campus is great and you really are an individual.
Genuinely I would really recomend hope. It actually outperforms John moores in league tables and has a better name should you go on to postgrad

Thanks for replying! I'm not very confident so the small class sizes sound great, and with more of a 'community' feel! I changed my firm option to Hope yesterday afternoon so you've definitely reassured me and I feel I've made the right decision. Thanks!
