    No. There needs to be more education on clinics etc that people can go to. And that speaking to your chemist for colds and the like is better than a GP appointment.

    I go to the GP regularly because I have numerous mental health issues, period issues, iron issues and migraine issues. While the NHS has not always been exactly stellar when it comes to 'helping' me, I wouldn't dismiss it at all, and I am rather grateful for it.

    Yes, and you should pay for your own healthcare in general. There's so much talk about reforming the NHS for a reason; it's expensive care that doesn't produce adequate results. You ought to privatize the system and put it more in line with Switzerland.

    Which means those of us with serious long term medical problems who need to constantly see doctors are screwed. Probably wouldn't even get healthcare either.

    I pay taxes so I don't have to pay further down the line.

    Although I rarely go to my GP and never used a hospital, so really I'm helping those less fortunate.
