There's probably differing degrees, slightly chubby, more significantly chubby etc. For me I'd say a reasonable agree of fat but not so much that the stomach actually has overhang when standing, that would be entering plain "fat".

So to me with a quick google of chubby, cba to look for amazing examples but...

bit chubby.. (which to me isn't a negative, but personal taste and all)

    still chubby IMO..

can't seem to find a good example of fat without being totally obese, anything much more than the second example though.

Personally, I would've said the first is just flat out chubby and the second is fat.

tbh it's a pointless question to ask, I mean OP is asking for people's personal views, but it's hardly something you can quantify. I will say the second one is borderline, but really cba to go looking when google brings up a load of horrifically obese people when you search for such terms.

Both are chubby. First one looks like the average women (bearing in mind Britain is the fattest nation in Europe so average means big). However, the second one is just fat and off-putting.

Chubby is Lena Dunham. Or Amy Schumer. When your body is podgy, particularly facial fat, double chin, chubby arms and no waist.
