    What is the going rate for my daughter as moved back home , I've said £40 a week as she is earning 240 a week wages is this to high

    If she's earning that a week, then I'd say that £40 a week is more than reasonable - I think it's a question of how much you want to help her, for example, if you want to encourage her to save, then charging her just £40/week is a good idea, so that she can then put aside some for savings... (This is what my parents have done in the past with my sisters...)
