Evening, folks! There's a lot of bad news in the world, and, whilst it's important to discuss that, the good news is often overlooked as a result. For this reason, #FeelGoodFridays is a new idea to try and round up some of the more positive stories of the week

So here's the breakdown for the 16th - 20th January!

    1. Heroic dog saves owner after lying on top of him in sub zero temperatures for over 20 hours
After Bob slipped and fell in the snow late one night, paralyzing himself, he probably thought his chances were slim. But luckily for him, his dog disagreed, leaping into action and keeping his owner warm until his neighbour found them the next evening. Kelsey managed to save her owner's life, and Bob has managed to regain some movement since he was hospitalised... they were even reunited during his stay!

    2. 50 years later, 94-year-old woman graduates college
After leaving education in the 1960s in order to raise her children, 94 year old Amy Craton, now a great grandmother, finally completed her degree, 52 years on. She reportedly wanted to make use of her golden years, and having managed a 4.0 GPA, I think it's fair to say she managed that.

    3. Instead of Lemonade, Boy has a “Free Toy” Stand for Less Fortunate
6 year old Blake took to his driveway with his toys after tidying out his room, deciding that they should go to people less fortunate than him. He even took the toys he didn't sell into school, where they'll be used as rewards and prizes in the future.

Are there any big stories you think have been missed? Or any other ones you'd like to add? Discuss them here, and let's see how many we can find

Might be a good idea to post the Friday thread a little earlier on a Friday.
