Just to let you know i asked this question specially for my friend.

So after visiting a college with me, my friend had a taste of the college, she really liked it. She was going to somehow pursue her mum, but her mum disagreed right after visiting the college.

The thing is her mum is a bit controlling, she wont let her do certain jobs for some strange reason. Mostly her mum thinks college is for dumb people, even though the college got a 100% pass rate on 33 a level subjects (Obviously her mum doesn't believe that)

Im not going to type every single detail, but her mum is very stubborn, she tried every way to persuade her mother. So can anyone give me any advice to help her out?

All she can do is try to stand up to her mother on this and take some comfort in that she hasn't got long left until she's an adult and can leave

A good college would say something like 100 A*-B or something like that, but that's largely irrelevant. Any self motivated student can do well in whatever college they go to in my opinion.
