    Hi
I'm a Portuguese mature student living in Wales for the last 3 years and i'm starting Uni next September but i have one main question...
Should i apply via Wales or England Student Finance?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each system?
    Thanks in advance ;-)

    Thanks for the replay! ;-)
    Why Wales? :-)
i'm living in wales now but as an immigrant i'm not stuck in one place, i can easily move wherever it's better for me.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each "system"?
    Thank you once again

You can't play the system by moving as it's based in off of the past few years otherwise everyone would do that. As an EU student who has lived here for 3 years you ll get a tuition fee loan (and depending on the reason you ve lived here possibly more funding) that said you may get a tuition fee grant that reduce them as a Welsh resident.

likely neither- unless you've lived in the UK for 5 years on the 1st september in the year you wish to start then you apply via filling in the EU form - you would be entitled to a tuition fee loan only and not a maintanance loan.

This years form can be found here as an example:

It's where you've been resident for the last 3 years, you apply to.
