Im trying to choose between the two - I'll be on a strict budget and will be interested in checking out the nearby scenery/cities near camp on my days off and maybe for 10 days after camp. I just have no idea which one will give me a more fulfilled experience, in terms of being able to see and explore places outside of camp. I need to make my decision based on cost at the end of the day, so if anyone knows which place might be easier/cheaper to travel around please reply! Thanks in advance

I guess you will never really know without doing both, does either country appeal to you more? Canada is spectacular but I would apply for summer camp jobs in America. Thousands of people do Camp America every year and this might be the best option if it is your first time away. Maybe go to the USA your first summer then Canada the next? Sorry if this isn't very helpful, both destinations are similar and I'm sure you will have a great time doing both
