    Im a GCSE student, have sat my science exam last year, got a C (barely revised), If i were to get As and A*s (majority A*s) in my other 9 subjects, would I still be able to apply to top unis? Would my chances of getting into them be high?

    Your GCSE grades are not that important, it is your A level grades which matter when applying to universities. Having lots of As and A*s at GCSE might help a little bit, but lots of people get into top universities without great GCSE results.
