Hi, I am in lower sixth taking History as one of my A-Levels and I'm finding it really hard to revise as there is already a lot of content.

Please can anyone give me useful tips on how to revise history at alevel or suggest any useful resources that helped them?

I love history and am keen to improve on it so anything would be appreciated. I am studying the Tudors and Louis XIV!

Thanks!

I'm not studying the same things as you (I do Nazi Germany), but I find creating timelines very helpful. It helps me figure out what led to what, and you can add whatever you need to it (eg. add in themes with a colour code). Having it laid out also helps with finding patterns, eg when religion has the most influence.

Hope that helps!
