I'm sure I have serious ADD or maybe it's depression or both. I am really struggling to focus on anything and get lost very quickly and do not take notice of my surroundings. My brain is always asleep and I'll forget what is said to me or zone out when someone is speaking to me. it's really bad and i need some help with how to fix this... I'm really struggling at 6th form because it's really affecting me with concentration, memory and focusing. I have to study at home but stress and feelings of depression are making it really difficult...at the moment it appears im very stupid but my brain is making it so difficult and i'm really stressed. I don't have any friends either. Any advice?

Well, you could try and get a little more sleep - there's a big difference between seven and a half hours and six and a half. Other than that I don't really know what to suggest - I wish I could give you a hug, though.

Even on days when I sleep for much longer hours I feel the same. I wish my brain would function normally and not be so slow. I also get anxious really easily like when someone I don't know talks to me for example which might be why I lack social skills and have no friends. Thank you for your reply.

maybe you should go seek medical advice? so you could find out why this is happening and why and then find a solution to it?

Get yourself to your GP. They're the health experts, and they can help you get diagnosed so your school recognises your conditions
