Hi, pretty much as the title..

Wondering if it's possible to self-teach GCSE combined science with just the CGP revision book or do I need other sources of information. If so, could you please let me know what else I'll probably need? Also, any kind of time-frame would be great! Thanks so much for your help everyone.

I pretty much taught myself the sciences due to my useless teachers
I mainly used the CGP revision guides, YouTube videos and past papers.
Everyone learns differently though so you just need to find the right method for you with practice

As for the time frame - it was a couple of years ago but I don't think it took me long to go though each unit (week or so, with other things going on)

Yeah, just take notes, watch YouTube vids, use a CGP Practice book (only for some courses) and do plenty of past papers.

Are the actual text books necessary or do the CGP revision books give enough info? https://www.amazon.co.uk/GCSE-Chemis...ience+textbook

The revision books cover everything, but often lack the detail. You could get the revision books and use them in conjunction with the internet for more in depth coverage of each topic, but the textbook will probably be very useful.

    Understood, thank you!
