Okay, so this week I have to pick 4 A-levels, I already know that i'm going to take biology and chemistry.
However, I don't know what else to take with these, I've limited my choices to the following:
    -French
    -Business Studies
    -Moving Images Arts

I like French and think it will look good on my CV. Business studies- (I have not done it for GCSE but it is still open for me to do it) and will also let me take part in my schools bank which will look good for my CV. Moving images arts because it is something I think I will find fun and interesting.

Can someone give me advice or some pros and cons for the subjects because i'm really stuck. I believe these subjects are all with CCEA.

Don't choose a subject based on whether it will look good on your CV or not. If you know what you want to do post Sixth Form, definitely base your choices around the entry requirements for your course. Also, choose subjects that you are interested in, as well as confident in. Look at the specification for the subjects you're thinking about and ask teachers about what the course consists of.

You've already chosen some quite difficult subjects. I do Bio but not Chem, and Bio is very difficult, so maybe you could choose a more creative subject to relieve from the stress of these rigorous subjects.

Also, your Sixth Form will probably allow you to change your subject choices all throughout Year 11 and Summer. There are so many changes that happen between now and results day and many people change subjects so don't think you'll be the only one whose had a change of heart! Even once Sixth Form had started in September, many people changed their subjects around in the first half term, so there is a lot of movement!

I made the mistake of worrying too much about Sixth Form in Year 11. It distracted me from my studies, so just try and focus on Year 11 at the minute.

If you have any questions about Sixth Form, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck for Year 11!
