basically, ive landed myself in a slight problem.

to put it simply, im one of the first AS students in my country ever, and to make matters worse (or better? i can't tell anymore) my headteacher hired an English teacher from Kenya, who is all very new to all of this and basically only managed to give me notes for section A of literature. however, that's not the issue, the issue is that my English teacher is now claiming that section B is only explained in a book of its own and that this book cannot be purchased except for in the UK, even though i gave him the Edexcel AS English Literature textbook. i live in Africa btw.

so my question is, how am i supposed to study for it if i don't have notes, if he's trying to convince my parents that i only take ONE exam (which will lower my average hugely, considering the grade boundaries so far) and if the book doesn't contain all the content, plus with my exam nearing in may?

idk but it'd mean a lot if any of you guys have any suggestions or whatever.

Why don't you try ordering it online, or maybe you find an online version....

There are some online resource I can link to you such as
    S-cool website
and the get revising website these sites may help you generate notes for your texts.
Also were you given all of your texts by your teacher? If not it would be advisable to purchase the right editions online and start annotating them or to print the online copies.

Sorry that this reply is 2 weeks late, you probably are aware of all of this by now.

    Best of luck

i doubt that would have helped. both my parents didn't even want me taking english lit in the first place. they also thought that the teacher knew what he was doing (he didn't) and so i dropped it, but thanks for the suggestion any ways.

thank you! maybe if i had noticed sooner, i would have kept doing english lit, but the teacher refused to teach me unit two completely (he hasn't done the a level curriculum before. ever), and he was really slow with teaching.

but that's besides the point. thank you for the kind wishes, and i wish you all the best too
