    Answer: (i) C, as the force and distance are perpendicular. Thus full moment occurs.

    (ii) A, angle between force and distance is 0 degrees, therefore no moment.

    (iii) B, as the force and distance are between 0 and 90 degrees, therefore the moment will be between 0Nm and 5Nm.

    straight down = zero turning effect as the force passes through the pivot point.

    at right angles = maximum turning effect

    other angles = less turning effect
