Hi, I'm in year 12 now and I'm completely STUMPED as to where to look at for uni. I'm doing 4 A-levels (geography, history, gov & pol, and economics), and am targeted an A in all of them. I am, begrudgingly, called a "high-flyer".
I know that I want to do something around geography, possibly encompassing economics or politics.
I'm hoping to compile a list of 7-10 possible universities to look into, in the hopes of having 5 definite choices by the time it comes to applying.
Thus far, I have put down Aberyswyth, Cambridge, Oxford, Nottingham, and Lancaster. I would like a few more options, however universities are not something that have been greatly presented to me, especially in a geographical field (much of the help college has offered has been for engineering, architecture, medicine, etc), so I'm looking to TSR for help.
    Thank you!

you have to decide which course you want to do at uni first, then do research into which universities are highly ranked for that course, and go and visit them, good luck!

Would something like http://www.southampton.ac.uk/demogra...geography.page appeal to you? Or something along the lines of http://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/under...tive-research/

Or something less quantitative like http://www.exeter.ac.uk/undergraduat...humansciences/ ?

Oxford and Cambridge courses are quite different - deciding on the course you're interested in should help you pick between the two.

LSE would be worth a look - as would some Scottish universities (their 4 year structure means you can explore related/other subjects more thoroughly as part of your degree)
