Hello, for a revision paper, for this topic:
"Solve engineering problems that involve the use and solution of exponential, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions and equations."
    We have this sample question:

The equation in itself seems pretty simple to solve, but whats the purpose of finding the hyperbolic identity to use, and how would you go about finding which one?

This is the formula sheet provided:

    Many thanks,.

You know how to compute \sinh(x) and \cosh(x) using their exponential forms. And you're given the relationship between \tanh(x) and the aforementioned functions.

Presumably it wants you to identify that relationship and then use those expressions to find V.
