In May 2015, I ended up with 2 months in hospital after my blood sugars skyrocketed and I was diagnosed diabetic. Short story: lost muscles, had to regain, missed triple science exams, english lit and other first year GCSE exams. So in year 11, I had to drop an option to get free lessons to catch up and go from Triple Science to Double/Additional Science. And last year, I got my GCSE results which were 4 Cs and 2 Bs. Would the 2 months in hospital have affected my grades much as my dad/the support teacher at my school say if I hadn't, they would have been upped by a grade. It's just something I was wondering about after a chat with my dad yesterday.
