Hi, I'm currently in my second year studying Criminology & Sociology at City University of London but I'm not enjoying it as much as I had anticipated, mainly because I feel as though I'm not being pushed enough and as a result uni life has become quite monotonous. I managed to get strong grades in my first year and I'm on track to do the same this year, I was just wondering it anyone had any stories of transferring to a better university after second year?? I'd be happy to redo second year in the new uni as I know you're not allowed to join 3rd. I was considering Religion, Politics and Society at KCL as the course content is quite similar and I only just missed out on the A Level grades.

I know of some people who completed their first year at a lower ranked uni, but then transferred to kings, but had to redo their 1st year. Personally I think it'll be difficult, its worth emailing King's admissions and putting in an enquiry.

To be honest your best bet would be to get a first and then complete a masters to KCL, UCL, ICL.
