The lowdown: I was going to do Medicine at Uni so I took Physics, Chemistry, Biology and German. However, after doing work experience I realised I wasn't ready for it so I decided to study Politics and German.

I've already sent in my application and received several offers...however I would much prefer to study French, but I don't have a French A Level (only GCSE French A*, 299/300 UMS).

French is much more relevant (and easy) for me as I want to work for the Red Cross/EC/EP/UN, but now I'm panicking as I don't think I can change my choices!

Q: Can I change to French w/ Politics when I get to University, or am I stuck with German w/Politics?

You can absolutely change. I've changed my degree twice since I applied through UCAS. E-mail the university and explain.

I doubt you can do French at uni without doing it at A-level though.

You need to contact the universities you've applied for to see if they'll allow you to study French ab initio instead of german.

They only have Italian ab initio but thank you for your reply and I'll contact the University
