    in year 13 and hoping to apply to medical school but need relevant work experience and volunteer opportunities. anyone have any ideas where I could go or what I could do???

    Try contacting hospitals, walk in centres, and GP surgeries in your area. Some do take on work experience students. You could also ask if any of them would be willing to talk to you about their job, or see if your sixth form could organise someone to come in and do a talk. If mental health is an interest, you could try and get work experience with the charity Mind or something like that. Check out care homes in your area as well as hospices. You may be able to volunteer there
