So, I have a food technology GCSE mock on the 9th February and the actual, real GCSE on the 1st March. It's safe to say I'm not exactly looking forward to either.
This GCSE (V Cert) is generally quite easy, but there are limited revision resources and guides online, which is never useful, so I'm calling out for anyone who has already done the paper. How did you revise? The way they mark it frustrates me and seems so unfair as it is done by criteria meaning if you get a pass on one of the questions but distinction in all the rest your final grade drops to pass, or so my teachers tell me.
So I'm asking, how do you revise this subject? How difficult is the exam? Generally, someone help me please!
I'm predicted merits though thats because I joined just before the GCSE course started and they have no previous data on me, my teachers tell me I should be aiming for distinction & they think I can get it, but I'm not so sure. I tend to crumble under pressure (or I guess I can be a little lazy....) and I don't know how to tackle such a thing as GCSEs.
