AS exams no longer count as part of your A-Level, they're kinda like mocks. Having said that, they count towards your predicted grades (and my schools refuses to tell any lies for predicted grades). My recent mocks (which I didn't revise for) were pretty damn bad. My first exam is probably going to be around late May/early June. For the A/A* students: When is the best time to start revising and how many hours a day should I aim for? Are there any particular methods that have worked best? I'm aiming for A's. I had no luck at GCSE (got only A's and B's).

I take Maths, Computer science, Economics and Geography.

    Thanks!

Start making notes now, and aim to begin past papers by Feb half term. Do every past past paper you can ( for both your board and others ) especially for maths.

I personally don't think time is a good way to measure work, i have done more work in an hour than i have in 6 sometimes. Instead set yourself specific tasks/topics that you want to complete and plan it that way.

I'm revising now, I'm aiming for A/A*s so have been consistently revising since I started college. I have 2 subjects where my AS counts, and 2 that don't. if I were you, I would start now. Treat these exams like the real thing and you will be 2x as prepared come next year, as revising the AS content will be a lot easier and come to mind faster. Start making notes and revision resources.
