I know I've already posted another separate question on GCSE options, but this year my school has decided to do Economics as well as business studies. Which do you think would be the better option? Thanks.

Economics is the more respected subject and links with geography, history, etc.

I did economics at GCSE and it was tough but it helps when you take it to A level.

If you're not planning to take economics to A level, do business as it is easier to get an A*

As someone who does business studies, it's a really easy and straightforward subject in my opinion. Not so sure about economics.

I did GCSE Economics and it's really interesting but kind of mathsy(very easy maths though)
Not sure about Business Studies but they have different emphasis Economics is more about the whole economy while Business focuses on what's going on in firms
