I did this 2 years ago for GCSE and it was in place of 2 GCSEs so my distinction was equivilent to A*/A. this was at the intermediate level. my question is this: some ppl have said they've done GNVQ ICT and got like a pass for example, and then said this is 4 C's. how is this possible? i didnt think you could do higher for GCSE?

If you do single part Intermediate GNVQ ICT (3 units) its equivalent to 2 GCSEs whereas full Intermediate GNVQ ICT (6 unit) is equivalent to 4 GCSEs
Single Award Intermediate (3 units) GNVQ ICT Pass = 2 Cs Merit = 2 Bs Distinction = 2 As
Full (6 units) Intermediate GNVQ ICT Pass = 4 Cs Merit = 4 Bs Distinction = 4 As
Cool. Help me out then. I did the Edexcel Intermediate GNVQ ICT in 2001. As I chose to study business studies and economics it meant that i wasnt allowed to study ICT anyway i had to do the one lesson a week Intermediate GNVQ ICT. I got my certificate and everything but ain't got a clue what grade I got. I did all the units and did the exam, so does everyone get the same grade for that subject?
