This is the kind of headline I want to see on my news website.

    http://www.champnews.com/newsdetail....GN4_ART_432912

A baby tortoise was stolen from a West Lancashire pet shop, worth about £120, last Tuesday. On Friday, the little one was anonymously dropped off at the till after Lancashire Police issued an appeal, and went straight for his food bowl!

    Sometimes there's a happy ending!

Slightly off topic, but does anyone else think that Roald Dahl story Esio Trot is completely not okay?

Dude wants to get with the woman downstairs, so he steals her tortoise and using chicanery, cons her into believing he's making it grow using magic.

A lot of stories/films aimed at children have interesting subtexts. For instance, Beauty and the Beast is basically Stockholm syndrome.
