we did AQA Chemistry 1

and I got an A*

I'm doing new double science with Edexcel.

I *think* I got an A* overall in ordinary science, though my science teacher hasn't worked it out yet.

In my last two modules I got 40/40. Which when averaged with my previous modules comes to 35.833 which isn't quite an A*, but hopefully those internal things will bring that up.

Doing add. science now.

Umm...I have done 4 && 3 ISAs(Practicals&test)
Physics - 42/50, 43/50, - A, A
Chemistry - 47/50, 45/50 - A*, A*
ISAs - Chemistry - 32/43, Physics - 34/34!, Biology - dunno, A*, A*
so I think I should get an A* overall, just gotta make sure to get 2 A*s in my Biology Modules

wow! everyone did so great, apart from me! :frown:

got any tips for me?

going to resit some :biggrin:

Chemistry = 34 and 34 = C and C
Physics = 31 and 28 = C and D
Biology = 30 and 26 = C and D

any tips on which ones to resit?
most probs the two D's, but should i resit any others?

i really want a B in Science gcse overall, because i want to take it in alevels. but, from these results, i think my aim will shatter.!

now doing add. science too.

I think if you have time you should resit all of them and aim for B's and above.
If you do not have the time resit the tests you got the lowest marks in (the number of tests is your choice) and you must get pretty high marks 42+
Basically, if you do less resits, you must get a higher grade in those tests to get an overall B or above ... Also, I didn't revise for the Physics like this but I did for the Chem. try the CGP books, they are good- and do as manypast papers as possible, and then make sure you know why you got all the answers you got wrong - wrong, if you know what i mean. So... Past Papers&CGP.

I was one mark off an A in the last Chemistry paper. :mad:

My average was worked out as 39.33 without my ISA mark. I know it's an A so hopefully it will bring me up 0.67 :s-smilie:

I'm on the exam board of Edexcel and i was quite happy with my results considering i didnt do too well in the first set of modules which im going to retake in November lol!! I got...

Biology: 36/40 A*
Chemistry 28/40 B
Physics 28/40 B

Well for my AQA Module 1 I got:

Biology - 70/100 (B)
Chemistry - 89/100 (A)
Physics - 78/100 (B)

And I got a B overall.

i did so rubbish in these exams cos i never revised! didnt even know that they were towards our real exams!

so i averaged an E!!! but then i ended up with B overall?!?!?!?

the teachers hated me.
they had some conspiracy. In the internal assesment one of the teachers worte that i got 15/20 in my interview and they didnt even asses me, then in the real one i got 15 even though i did MUCH better!
And i only got a 6 in fitness when i got better results than my partner and we did the same thing and she got a 9!
