I did not resit my biology and chemistry AS Level Exam. I got a 70 and a 76 percent in AS respectively.

How are my chances of getting my grade at least up to an A in A2?

You would need to reach the grade boundary for an A in your A2 exams and also make up the difference from your AS. You need to look at the grade boundaries from AS and work out how far off you were from an A. For example if you were 5% off an A at AS, at A2 you would need to be 5% over the grade boundary for an A at A2 to get an A overall.

A good friend of mine had got a C in AS Business and then achieved an A* in A2 Business without retaking any of his first two units in AS..

Anything is possible with the right work ethic and attitude.

Definitely, I've gone up two grades based off my mocks. If i can go from a low D in computer science to a mid B in 6 months of course you can! Have you done any mocks for A2 yet?
