    Hi,

I've always had really dry skin which prevented me from using foundation. Every foundation I've tried looks flaky, no matter how much I moisturise before putting it on. I've just never found a formula that is smooth or oily enough to not look weird on my face.. anyone with the same problem here?

I suggest you put on a primer underneath your foundation. You can find one which is for dry skin and that should provide a smooth base for you. Regarding foundation, Bobbi Brown has some very moisturising and dewy formulations.

Avoid using brushes to apply foundation because that will micro-exfoliate and give you dry patches. Instead, use a damp sponge and stipple that over your skin.

You might want to try this primer, it's very cheap and by a reliable company. https://www.victoriahealth.com/produ...-Ordinary/1053
