That is not an ISIS sign lol. Just because ISIS do something, it doesn't mean it's only exclusive to them. Many Muslims who oppose ISIS do this sign.

That seems rather silly since it has become synonymous with ISIS.

Article about the sign she's seen doing from respectable news site http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/isis-what-s...salute-1506249

    From that article:
"The one" was actually a recognised gesture by Muslims long before IS and signified the tawhid, the belief in the oneness of God. It would traditionally be used during prayer or sermons.
It's possible she was trying to 'reclaim' the sign, as it originally belonged to all Muslims. Or she was doing it to show what it was, or some other perfectly normal reason. The idea that she was doing it to support ISIS doesn't make any sense, as she is not a Jihadist, based on the work she does on human rights.

The tweets in your article (about no interest being charged under Sharia Law) seem aimed at people in the west who say they are living under Sharia Law when they are clearly not. This isn't advocating for Sharia, rather it is criticising the fear-mongering of these people.

I don't think I will ever get tired of having a chuckle at these moronic insinuations and the people that lap it up.
I don't think it can get any more ridiculous than this, but sadly it will get even worse.
Btw found an isis baby

The guy who killed the Russian ambassador in Turkey last year did the same sign.

Don’t forget Aleppo! Don’t forget Syria!
The ambassador stands at a podium as gunfire rings out. He flinches and then drops to the floor. Standing behind him, a man holding a gun and wearing a dark suit and tie raises one finger skyward and shouts, “Allahu akbar,” Arabic for “God is great.”

The question is why would she do it and post it on her twitter when its quite obvious that it has been associated with the caliphate

    Respectable or mainstream?

    There is a difference.

How long did the BBC insist that the Pakistani Muslim child rapists operating in Rotherham were merely "Asian"?

    But that's by the by.

The left it would appear have fully embraced the cult of Islam. Expecting them to even pause for thought when it is revealed that the woman who organized the DC women's march supports Sharia law and has links with the terrorists of Hamas is wishful thinking.

It boggles the mind however that someone living in America with freedom of speech, religion, free from persecution, etc could actually want to bring a system of oppression over. Crazy & indoctrinated (that, or she is unfamiliar with the Quran/Sharia/hadiths ...)
    I agree

In terms of actual issues regarding Sarsour, not her family, you've got a CIA conspiracy theory (pretty widespread across the political spectrum), speaking at various councils and rallies (by association), speaking out for a brain-damaged hunger striker and anger at a police shooting of a black person.

It's worth making the distinction between Islamic violence and political violence relating to the geopolitical conflict in Israel and Palestine, especially considering she was born there, and is therefore entitled to have a strong opinion about it (this is basic patriotism). These forums she speaks at are, according to you, aligned with Hamas, Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood. Some of these groups are actively fighting against ISIS in Syria, and none of them are aligned with ISIS or carry out terrorism against western nations.

I'm not saying that I agree with her political beliefs, or that her supporting Hamas would be justified. But you also can't say she supports Hamas just because she speaks at some unpleasant councils which do.

Regarding the march, I also don't see what this woman's political affiliations has got to do with it even if she was involved at the start. I have heard that many different groups and individuals took part. The particular group which first started organising it really isn't that important.
