I am very bad at planning revision so most of my day gets wasted by bad planning .
I am revising for my dreadful GCSE , My daily day is go school at 9AM and return by 3:30PM then I have 6 h to go to bed . I usually start revising at 8PM until 11PM but this has left me restless for the next day .
Should I revise how many subjects and how long to be able to finish the course before April?? Thank you

What I would say is no one can tell you a fixed number. Go at your own pace because you could revise for 5 hours and not learnt anything or you could revise for 3 hours and you've learnt a lot for example. Look at the spec of each subject to see if you know the content and then do exam papers

I wouldn't advice revising at 8 to 11, it is too late for the maximum amount of information to go in.

Law of diminishing returns. Revise in the morning.

maybe as soon as you get home you can do a couple hours/however long is manageable? since you've just come back maybe you'll still be "in the zone" rather than unmotivated and tired at 8pm. that also lets you relax at night and it might be easier to slip into a routine since you're not restless.

idk. it's really down to what you feel you can do
