Hi so I am not asking this specific to any exam boards or anything, but I was wondering how A-levels and in general student life has changed. I was originally supposed to finish my A2 in 2015 however due to circumstances I have been out of educated for the past 3 years and finally going to complete my A-levels this year. I feel so out of place sometimes and I feel a lot has changed since when I was in school back in 2014 to now. So yeah just wondering I suppose

I think the biggest thing that's changed with them is you now take all the exams at the end of the second year instead of taking AS's in the first year and A2's in the second. -- This change came in, in some subjects in September 2015 but now I think it's across the board. I was the same as you, sort of. Took my AS's in 2015 and due to take my A2's in 2016 (I was the last year that all the subjects had AS and A2's as opposed to just A-level and taking all exams at the end of year 2). I failed some exams at AS tho so had to start again with some of them in the new format. Didn't really like it so I moved over to BTEC.

Hey there, thanks for replying! So are you doing BTEC now and do you find it hard to see all your friends go off to uni whilst your stuck in the same place you were? That's how I feel. I was forced to leave my studied like I had no choice due to health issues and now that I'm back into education it just feels so lonely and out of place. Do you get what I mean?

What A levels are you finishing off this year? For many subjects this Summer is the last chance you will have to complete A levels you started in 2014.

This Summer is your last chance to complete the Economics and History specifications you started (the entry deadline for this Summer' sexams is 21 February) but you have until Summer 2019 to complete Maths.

If anyone can answer this then it would be great..

Im looking to resit one of my aqa maths modules as i want to transfer to a better uni after taking a gap year

Have the modules become harder in terms of exam questions? i know that from 2013 that they have been getting harder and harder and more people are struggling to achieve their target grades especially for maths

im looking to either redo an additional module. D1 or start a new module which will be S2. Already achieved an A in S1 sooo why not so yeah if anyone could help that would be ace!
