Psychology is the better to take if you're interested, and easy to learn from scratch! It can be classes as a science related subject and an essay based subject

    Hey,

I'm an IAL student where I only had to 7 weeks to cram a years course of Psychology for the exams.
I can personally say it's fantastic, and quite easy to get an A.
The multiple case studies stick to your memory like glue due to it's weirdness making the exam actually quite fun.

From what I understand with Sociology, a satanic amount of essay writing is required which isn't exactly my cup of tea.

I do both of them. Psychology has more information to learn, lots of case studies but it is really interesting. Sociology is less info but you have to know how to write a good essay, also really interesting if you want to learn about society. Psychology is apparently seen as a better subject but I think both are great.
