I'm scared as I've got a practical exam tomorrow for my nursing course. I usually just scrape by with 40- 50 percent but I know I'm going to fail as my handling isn't up to scratch. I've just practiced on my mum and got all confused. Im usually able to cope with exams nerves but these practicals are horrible. Some people don't turn up as they are too anxious. I just want to be calm and stop this horrible feeling as I know I won't sleep tonight.

While I can't help with the nursing side of things, would something like a hot bath and a warm drink help calm your nerves a bit?

My friend used this spray before her driving test and it helped. I can't remember the name but a pharmacy would. Have you thought of talking to a pharmacist about something to calm your nerves?

I recently read a quote somewhere that said "if you worry, you suffer twice". Your practical exam is going to happen tomorrow whether you like it or not, and you do not know whether you are going to pass or fail.
The future is currently out of your hands, but you are in control of the present. Take care of yourself, give yourself some love.
Try meditating, reading a book, watching a film, learning a dance, listening to some new music, or, my personal favourite when I want to take my mind off something- just let your imagination run wild.
And remember you are capable of so much more than you think!

I'm still trying to study lol but yea maybe I should watch a film or something before sleeping, thanks. I'm actually thinking about the positives of failing, I will have the next few months free as I won't be able to progress onto the next unit.
