I didn't know where to put this, so sorry if it's in the wrong place. I'm currently in my first year of a levels and I get 25% extra time(I did for my GCSEs too). My question is when filling in forms such as a widening participation summer school can I tick the dyslexia box even though I have never had a specific dyslexic test done. I do have dyslexia, I just want to know whether I need to pay to have a official test by a professional in order to say I'm dyslexic on forms ect.
    Thanks

if you haven't had an official professional diagnosis then it'd be very beneficial for the sake of university support to get one asap, but if it's not official then i wouldnt specifically mention it, just say you get extra time.
