I am doing a problem question and the a person I am advising was given a donatio mortis causa gift on the owner's death bed. However, under the will the owner's girlfriend is given all of the assets, including this gift. So, I was wondering if the girlfriend could contest this? And how she can?

my understanding is that a DMC gift is similar to a codicil to a will, but expressed verbally; thus its stipulation supersedes that made in the will at an earlier date.
