Is 85 hp to little for a car this size. I ask because I'm planning a big road trip.

Depends how many people and how much stuff you'll be hauling, if you'll drive in the mountains, and how fast you wanna go. In general, I don't think there are many cars weak/slow enough not to have a great road trip in.

I had one on holiday last year. It hated any hill.

It's a very small amount of BHP for that weight. I have a hatchback with a 1.2L engine which has 69BHP and that struggles sometimes I gotta rev it a lot up hills n such

Can't see why 85bhp would be an issue in a car that's only 1.2 tonnes. It's not gonna be zippy and you won't be going 70 up a hill but that doesn't mean its not enough horsepower. Apparently it does 0-60 in 15 seconds which is absolutely terrible, I didn't realise there was a single modern car that was actually that slow. But, it'll still be perfectly driveable.

Take one for a test drive and see what you think. Personally I can't see any appeal in that car, it's ugly and slow and you can do an awful lot better for your money, but try it out and see what you think.

thank you very much for your take on it. I don't think I'm going to get one.
