If you have your GCSE Maths, English language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A/A*. Also good A level grade for instance; AAA in Chemistry, Biology (they are mostly prefered) and either Physics or Maths. You will make a strong applicant. The rest GCSE do whatever you enjoy and less time consuming - like Arts- in my opinion.

    GOOD LUCK!

Chances are that the uni you go to won't check.

If the coursework load is big for digital technology, I would avoid it. I take computer science and that isn't too bad though.

Based upon the fact you want to do medicine I would suggest History, as it is quite an essay-based subject and overall a good subject to study. I wouldn't however restrict yourself to just medicine - in the case you change your mind, you would be great-full that you chose perhaps a more Art-based subject. Variety is always good - also stops you getting bored!
