Going back to the original topic, obviously it's up to you what colour you dye your hair. Black girls with blonde hair (dyed, weaves wigs ect) always end up looking ridiculous af. Very ratchet looking imo.
    I'm mixed race

yeah like burgundy, if she was a light skinned mixed race girl honey blonde/light brown would suit her, but honestly she needs to face the facts lmao

I think you should not dye your hair blond unless you are willingly to compromise your black hair. Also think of the damage, root damage, no hair by 30. Thank You for your time. See you later. And I am Pas
I don't have your hair problems.

i am not sure if you are just trolling, i think you are the fact you put "died"... However! if you did dye your hair, your hair will have "died" or will "die" soon from all the harsh chemicals you put in it.

    You will regret it.

you're not mixed race though. Mixed race means that you are of two different ethnicities. But you're not. You're dad is ethnically black and that is the same with your mother. That means that you're not mixed, you're just black.

There are many light skinned black people but i dont see them claiming theyre mixed. What's this silly obsession with people straight up lying about their race in order to seem more attractive.
    he is white though.

Whatever race you are lets all adress the issue here.... BLONDE HAIR. Will not suit you.

I mean that is what the thread title is right?

Also, you contradicted yourself in your title you put "Blonde black girl?" if you are mixed you should have like worded it a bit different.... here are some suggestions "mixed race girl blonde" or "should i dye my hair blonde" to avoid this big debate about whose black and who is not, to be honest you created this whole scene here

    Ever heard of skin whitening?
We live in a very racist world. People of African descent have to suffer the lowest status thanks to that. It sucks and it's wrong, but it's true. So it doesn't surprise me if some people want to stress the component of their ethnicity that is higher status, even though it makes me sad that they feel they need to.

To the OP: Personally I share your Mum's tastes. I don't think it looks good if a person's hair is lighter than their skin. But who gives a crap what people think? I know some people don't like my blue hair. And a lot of people didn't like it when I had dreadlocks. But I liked those looks and it is my body and my hair. So screw them.
Also... if you don't try, you'll never know.
