Which do you think would be best Further Maths or Computer science? watch

    • Thread Starter

I have to do my collage application and i am choosing Biology, Maths and either Further maths or Computer Science.

Which do think will be best if i want to carry on doing IT later on cause most universities don't require prior knowledge about computer science to let you go on the course. I also do computer science at the moment for my GCSe

It depends what you're wanting to do in the future.
Further Maths can be known to be challenging if you aren't exceptional at maths but its mainly down to the individual, having computer science on the side would open more opportunities than further maths unless you wanted to head down the maths route

Depends on what you wanna do tbh.
Compsci if you wanna do computer science in uni
and further maths for something else.

Further Maths. It's much more fun, and if you're going to uni for Computing you'll spend your first year covering stuff from the A-Level anyway.

Can't say anything about compsci but further maths is the most fun, rewarding, enjoyable subject you could do at A level if you got an A* at GCSE for maths and enjoy it. You never get the feeling that the content is bland or holding you back. If i could drop normal maths i would, its pretty **** tbh but i obviously understand why i cant

do maths , further maths and computing that's the best combination, why the biology my i ask?
