    what textbook is the best in your opinion? im not a huge fan of the pearsons book. doesnt have much content, just loads of examples etc

    I use the Oxford textbook. Info is displayed nicely and there is a lot of detail, although perhaps too much! So I use that book with the CGP one which explains things more simply. Will buy the Oxford revision guide when it comes out because it seems to have condensed all the info from the big textbook

    is that the one with the grey cover that look like wool (no idea what it is)? i was considering buying it? what would you rate it?

    Yes haha it is I'd recommend it - lots of info and questions to do at the end of each topic and unit. I'd rate it a decent 7.5/10 but would use it with another book eg CGP. I've heard it's very expensive to buy (I'm renting mine from school) so I'm not sure if I'd pay that much for it. If you don't mind the cost I'd definitely get it.
