I'm in year 12 and will be completing the maths A level this year, will this change grade requirements for universities? E.g. some universities want A* A* A, would this change to just two A levels?

The requirements would stay the same. It's just that one of the required grades would already be confirmed. Because if they sent an offer to you of A* A, your already achieved grade could be applied to that.

It would depend on the university concerned - for some courses and some universities they will ask for 3 A levels in a single sitting and wont allow early entry for exams to count towards an offer.

You need to look at the websites for the universities you're interested in and if they aren't clear about how they view early entry for Maths then ring them up and ask directly.

As said, it's probably going to depend on the university, but I am in the same situation (gained an A-Level last year) and so instead universities just gave me conditional offers with 2 grades instead of 3, as I'd already achieved one of the grades.
