    up to 80kg x1

    Bench:
    60kg x2
    65kg x1
    70kg x1
    75kg x1

70 was pretty smooth/quick considering I had no liftoff or spot. Contemplating a few days off cos I'm really not enjoying going gym atm but more importantly need some rest due to heavy back squat on Wednesday

    Front Squat:
    40kg x2
    50kg x2
    60kg x2
    70kg x2
    80kg x4 (PR)

Quite pleased with this although it was hard. I've legit run 10ks and felt less taxed than I did on the final set. Looking to make a 1rm PR next week hopefully

    Bench:
    40kg x3
    50kg x2
    60kg x2
    65kg x1
    70kg x1
    77.5kg 2x0
    50kg x14 or 16 CG (PR)

Not the end of the world, will return to volume work next week and maybe I'll make 77.5 by the time I go back to uni. Singles at 70 are getting progressively easier too

    Accessories: curls, tricep extensions

    C&J
    40kg warmups
    50kg x1
    60kg x1
    65kg x1
    70kg x1
75kg made clean, missed jerk (clean PR)
    75kg missed clean
    75kg x1 (PR)

Jerk was very solid today, although stepped off the platform slightly at 70kg hence the dodgy back foot. +5kg PR @ -~8kg BW

    Deadlift
    75kg warmups
    90kg x2
    110kg x2
    120kg x1
    130kg x1
    144kg miss (lol)

Was with friends so I thought screw it, will throw some volume work in end of next week and attempt a PR after I max out front and back squat

Haha its not actually my gym, was there via guest pass with my friends. Hopefully I'll train there next summer if I manage to get a car

    Back Squat:
    60kg x2
    70kg x2
    80kg x1
    90kg x1
    100kg x1
    105kg x1

    Matched all time PR

    Bench:
up to 70kg for a single

    Deadlift:
    60kg x3
    80kg x3

Stopped here, hip froze up a bit while I was loading another plate. Training is all over the place atm, was planning to start volume on upper body again but at the same time I really want to attempt an 80kg C&J at some point next week too. I'll see how I feel

Back at uni gym. However we are no longer allowed to drop weights from shoulder height and above as the floor is supposedly "damaged"... So much for a £8.5m sports complex. Will have to do heavy clean and jerks in the other sports facility, unfortunately it's hella long to get to. Snatch work will be done at the weightlifting society gym. On the plus side the guy explicitly said "you can deadlift as much weight as you want and drop it" which means I can still do heavy pulls (and squats). Pretty sure dropping a 120kg clean pull makes more noise/damage than a 60kg C&J but whatever

Fees have gone up from £165 to £230 a year as well ffs

    Clean pulls + full clean:
    40kg 2+1
    50kg 2+1
    55kg 2+1
    60kg 4x(2+1)
    80kg x3 pull only

Hip/glute still feeling sore, less so after stretching and squatting though.

    Front Squat:
    40kg x2
    50kg x2
    60kg x2
    70kg x1

    Push press:
    40kg x2
    50kg x2
    55kg x1
    60kg x1
    62kg x1 (PR)
    65kg x0

    Accessories: pullups, chinups, pressups

Going to approximate my front squat max as I've pretty much lost the window to peak due to pulling a muscle and moving back to uni. Will begin next programme cycle from next week depending on how I feel

    40kg x3
    50kg x3
    55kg x3
    60kg x3
    62.5kg x3
    65kg x2
    55kg x10 (PR)

Forgot how annoying it is to bench in a power rack, think it's time to say goodbye to any measurable bench progress for the foreseeable future ngl. Will probs just work up to a 3rm and then an AMRAP at like 85% of the 3rm each week. OHP and push press will probably benefit due to reduced load on shoulders, in the grand scheme of things this should benefit me more in terms of olympic lifts

    Session 1

    Front Squat:
    40kg x4
    60kg x2
    65kg x2
    72.5kg x3
    70kg 3x2
    40kg x3 paused

Struggled more than anticipated, was meant to do 72.5kg for 6x3.Usual bs excuses lol

    Session 2

    High Hang Snatch:
    25kg 1x3
    30kg 3x3

    Full Snatch:
    25kg 2x3
    30kg 2x3
    30kg x1

    Snatch High Pull:
    45kg 5x3

Snatch felt pretty solid despite not doing it in a while. Man feels like a proper athlete training twice in a day lol. Long explanation as to why but it makes sense (for the most part)
