    Something was up because I could only function at 80% today for some reason. Didn't even bother to CJ because I was missing light snatches

    Snatch:

    35kg 3x1 , few misses
    40kg x1 after 2 attempts

    Rack Jerk:
    50kg x2
    55kg 2x1
    60kg 2x1

    Kept waking up during the night but still got a decent amount of sleep I think, however I felt very weak today. Not sure why either as I haven't been pushing max weights at all this week (except that one 60kg overhead squat).

    Back Squat:
    70kg x5
    80kg x5
    85kg x2
    90kg x1

    Intended to do 80kg 5x5 but that simply was not happening today. I think it's time to deviate from the programme and just do heavy triples, doubles and singles until Ramadan starts. Otherwise I'd continue with the 5x5 and 1x5 method, but I'll be forced to basically deload in 2 weeks regardless. Will defo return to the Texas Method over summer as it did wonders for my Bench and Squat.

    Deadlift:
    70kg x3
    100kg x2
    120kg x1

    Again was intending to do clean pulls but didn't have the spinning barbell. Even with hookgrip I swear my grip was failing kinda too :/

    Had no intentions of even going to the gym but I had about an hour to kill between lectures so I did. Even then I was just gunna do some bodybuilding stuff but lo and behold one of my beloved Werksan barbells was not in use. It is simply not possible for me to walk past and not use them if they're free. So I did power cleans and push press

    Power cleans + PP (in trainers)
    40kg x3
    45kg 2x3
    50kg 2x1
    55kg 2x1
    60kg 3x1 - PR in power clean but failed on the press all 3 times. 55kg felt easy af though

    Also muscle snatched 40kg at some point

    Ngl it felt kinda sick just walking in and throwing some (heavy-ish) weight above my head wearing trainers in the free weight area

    Looking like I might get 110kg just before Ramadan starts.

    Clean and Squat jerk
    40kg 3x1
    45kg 2x1
    50kg x1
    55kg x1
    60kg 2 misses on the jerk
    65kg clean only, got pinned disgustingly at the bottom but got up.

    Clean pull:
    65kg x3
    90kg x3 + shrugs
    110kg x2 + shrugs

    Might be able to get a 150kg deadlift soonish judging by how light 110kg felt

    Need to do more snatch balances. Leg strength is going up but OHS isn't which means its either a balance or mobility problem. Taking a break from split jerk because my shoulders are fried. Clean is looking clean af tho, got people complimenting me on my form quite often now (it's happened *literally* like 2 times in the past week lol)

    Also benched yesterday up to 60kg x5 but forgot to post

    Accessories: GHD, bicep curls, tricep pushdowns, lat pulldown, rear delt flies

    Felt quite solid actually up until 80kg, barely slept again but I woke up feeling fine which is strange.

    Snatch balance:
    Only up to 40kg today... Gunna pull a LeBron and blame it on the AC - hands were mad sweaty so I couldn't grip the bar

    Snatch Highpull from hang:
    Again only up to 40kg for 3x5, working on getting the bar off my hip

    Accessories: Lat pulldowns, lateral raises, BW dips

    No more sessions with the WL soc (I don't think) which means for a while my snatch accessories will be 100% technique based, I probably won't even do a full snatch for a while. I might max out clean and jerk next week if my shoulders are up for it, otherwise I'll just go for the 60kg squat jerk. I don't really need to peak the oly lifts anymore at this time, going to work on technique during my cut and then get stronk af

    Dip and drive feels better, dipping much slower and driving up faster. Jerk is still a bit dodgy though, my lockout is weak above 50kg. But I'm consistently getting under 60kg (split) now which is good because I remember struggling to make it for a while

    Snatch highpull from hang:
    Again up to 40kg 3x5 like yesterday. Attempted to hang snatch 40kg twice too but couldn't hold the bar overhead for various reasons. Extension feels alright though.

    First exam today, went decent. The same cannot be said for the session however.

    Backsquat:
    60kg x3
    70kg x3
    80kg x2
    90kg x1
    100kg x1
    110kg fail

    Just felt dodgy from the beginning. Progress over the past 5 months has been alright though, gone from 65kg x5 to 105kg x1. Contemplating whether or not I should retake and attempt 110kg again later this week...

    C&J split and squat
    40kg x1
    45kg x1
    50kg x1
    55kg x1
    60kg misses. Even missed a clean today which is super rare. I've only missed 3 cleans since I've been able to do them, none of them being max weights.

    The jerks actually felt super solid up until 60kg where I only attempted squat jerks. Problem is my clean was moving hella booky today so its not like I would have PR'd using the split anyway.

    Snatch pull
    40kg 3x5 from hang
    40kg 2x5 from floor

    Technique is improving. The saving grace...

    70kg clean, missed jerk
    75kg missed clean
    50kg clean + 3 jerks, 2 sets - basically cardio

    Jerks felt fairly solid up until the heaviest sets, cleans are still off. Possibly due to not doing clean pulls this week or last week (saving recovery time in order to max squats/deadlifts). Anyways that will most likely be the last time I C&J for about a month or so, just gunna focus on frontsquats and pulls for a while

    Dunno why I did the 10kg jump first. It came off the floor a little bit but couldn't finish. 145 didn't even come up. Form was looking good tho. Hoping to maintain being able to do 130-140kg during Ramadan/cut then over summer I might actually programme deadlifts in seeing as I won't be doing ly lifts as much

    Snatch balance:

    50kg x1
    55kg x1
    60kg x1
    65kg x1 (PR)
    70kg 2 misses

    Very very solid. No idea why I even did these today. Almost making a +10kg PR on such a technically demanding lift is pretty sick I guess, might have got it if I took a 3rd attempt but I didn't. But being able to overhead squat what I was doing for backsquats a few months ago is satisfying
