Hi, I was considering going to a London university (Middlesex/ Kings) & I was wandering that what would be an average amount on living costs weekly. I have worked out that with the student loan... deducting accommodation cost, that on average there will be roughly around £95 to spend. Is this amount suitable weekly for the living costs.
Thanks for your replies in advance.

That is plenty to spend, it also depends how much you travel, but without me traveling home every weekend I spend about £30-40, I live at platts so I don't pay to travel to Middlesex, but I buy lunch at Middlesex three times a week. So £95 is plenty

    Hello,

I have graduated last July and I am still doing the Masters! London is such a great place and Middlesex is amazing. Since the start, I had a great time and I made loads of friends.
I live in Hendon, 5 minutes walk from Middlesex University. it is great because I do not have travelling costs and I have joined the university gym that is £20 per month. I usually shop in Tesco that is cheaper than other supermarkets and I do not go out for meals much. I think that £95 per week is more than enough. I usually spend 15 pounds for my weekly shopping

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other question!
