I got the answer wrong and I was wondering what I need to do to get this right. I am practice online and I got 4/5 but the real test I need to get all 10 questions right.
    This is the question:

A patient takes 250mg in the morning and 300mg at night of Drug C each day. They have 56 x 25mg tablets of Drug C but need further supplies of the 100mg tablets.

How many 100mg tablets are required for 28 days supply?
    (answer number of tablets)

    550mg a day( 5 x100mg and 2 x25mg)x 28 = 140x 100mg and 56 x 25mg

    5x 100mg per day x 28 days=140 same with 25mg 2x 25mg x 28 days=56

It is a NHS trust link so I can't provide it. I am doing e-learning work and practising till I do the e-learning assessment. That question just put me off basically. They did not show how they got the answer. They just gave me the answer 140.

From your calculation, I see the 140 but I just don't get it.

I just saw your other post. it makes a sense to me. Thank you.

if they give you quantities its a clue fist you need to know the daily dose 550mgs. you know its devided into two 250 and 300. you now that they want 100mgs and hinted at 25mgs. so you obviously give full tabs so 2 in the morning with 2 x 25mgs and 3 x 100s in the afternoon.
dont panic they just want you to be able to do simple calculations they are not complicated. the total obviously is just a multiplication of your daily total. proof its correct the 25mgs match.
