    In context, that's highly debatable.

I mean does it really matter

After we gave Europe the middle finger the only people who will consider giving us votes are Russia.

Not to mention the winner from last year (Ukraine) did NOT deserve her win, awful song,

Yes true. Brexit has doomed us for this competition.

Australia will give us a few votes, as will Ireland. After that, nada.

But if we left it wouldn't continue.

I was gonna say that lol, we'd finish last because Brexit. But then we did finish last in 2008 and 2010, we just don't take the competition seriously.

I guess the Beeb didn't want to spend too much effort this year. Can't imagine what political event might have lead to that decision. :p:

I don't think that's necessarily true. It's maybe true that our 'best' artists don't take part, but ultimately it is a popularity contest and we're just not well liked at all.

This is the best UK song for a long time. British people always rundown their entry, even when it's good.

Children of the Universe was the best imo.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's a run of the mill ballad. nothing particularly different about it, and it will get forgotten. i think we should have sent something with a bit more oomph. something that has the british public's support. :dontknow:

i doubt eurovision will be coming to the uk in 2018

I don't like it, it was the worst of the selection.........

We should have sent Salena something uptempo would have worked well, but this wont be remembered at all

None of the acts were likely winners to be honest. Let's just hope we can avoid last place this year. :erm:
