So I applied for the MIBTP studentshio and have been invited for an interview next week. I was just wondering what types of questions to expect and whether or not they would be assessing any background knowledge on molecular mechanisms or my BSc stuff.

First, what is MIBTP?

People are not allowed to tell you about interview questions. Be prepared to talk about why you, why this course, why this uni and dept, how this fits with your career plans, how you've developed your interest in the subject and what skills and experience you can bring.

It's the Midlands Integrative Biosciences Training Partnership which is a BBSRC studentship. Of course no one will know the exact questions that will be asked as I am sure they vary but I just wanted a general overview so thanks for your suggestions.

I also have an interview and I do not know what to expect. Can you tell me what yours was like and what kind of questions they asked?

What was your interview like? Was it long? Did you have to complete a maths tests? I have one soon so I’m worried
