Scottish Results Thread

Well everybody the big day is almost here.
Since I may be off comiserating/celebrating tomorrow, or some of you may get results before me, I'm posting a thread for results tonight

Post your results in here (if you want to). Please include subject and the level (e.g. SG English, Int 2 Geography etc.)

Did you meet your predictions?
If not, are you going to appeal?
If you applied to uni, have you met the offer?
What decisions have you made about any further study?
What made you pleased/disappointed about your results?
Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again?
Could you look at the results first or did you get a parent to?
What time did you find out your results?
Did you feel nervous?
How do you feel now after knowing?

Best of luck everyone! {hugs all round}

Looks like I'm going to be first to answer my own thread

AAAAA!!! WOOOOOOOOOO! SOMEBODY GIVE ME A HAT!
(oh and an int 2 unit in music that I barely did anything for)

Did you meet your predictions? YESSSSSSS!
If not, are you going to appeal? n/a
If you applied to uni, have you met the offer? n/a
What decisions have you made about any further study? AHs in Computing, Geography, Maths, Highers in Music and Drama
What made you pleased/disappointed about your results? Totally ecstatic, especially about the unit
Anything you would have done differently in the past year if you could have done them again? Still might have crashed Modern Studies. Would have revised more for geography
Could you look at the results first or did you get a parent to? Mum brought them in and asked if I wanted her to slit it with a knife. I said I'd do it myself and opened it slowly (I'm crap with envelopes). Ripped off the first sheet and did double/triple/quadruple at least takes.
What time did you find out your results? Few minutes before eight.
Did you feel nervous? Hell yeah!
How do you feel now after knowing? Like I'm about to wake up from a very nice dream! (I did actually dream about it last night and woke up early :frown:)

{hugs all round}

Good luck everybody!

7:45? That's pretty impressive! Mine were earlier than I expected and I do only live across the road from the post office.
Congrats Ryan!!
One of my best friends and her brother (aka magicalsausage) are opening their results live on GMTV, I'll post when it comes on!!

(Sorry if you didn't want me to say...)

I was like what the hell?!?! If it wasn't for the GMTV thing I would have still been sleeping!! The past two years it has come at 10:30ish!

Ooooh I don't have a computer near my tv! Tell me before it comes on so I can run upstairs (and see magicalsausage)

.....

Mum says I should just go up and watch it now. Will it be on soon?

So, what do you guys want to study at uni/what you going to study at Oxford?

I want to study Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge if I can get in. If not some kind of Politics degree with a lot of options
And yourself?

I'm thinking Politics or Law but cannot decide. I'm kind of keen to stay in Aberdeen, do you know much about the quality of their department?

Biochemistry, at Hertford college. Can't wait!

Thinking about the politics there myself as an insurance in Scotland. Not sure though (might go for Computer Games Development at Abertay instead(don't ask!)).
My boyfriend's sister did law at Aberdeen and by the sounds of it it's a pretty good department.
Although of course I would advise you to go for politics
And I'm completely impartial
I think with your grades you'd probably get in to any of the Scottish unis so you don't need to worry
