I did indeed! I didn't do SG or H though, so I had loads to catch up on...

I really enjoyed it though, it was a good course.

    Oh yeah, sure!

I coded a Media Player in Visual Basic. It was bloody hard, lol. Took me 2.5 months to code right!! My write up was vast, it was ridiculous. 14,000 words or something...

Others in my class included - a card game program, a chess game (also really really hard), an investigation into Operating Systems, and an investiation into Network Security.

The latter was quite a good choice - we did Data com as our optional unit, and this guy was miles ahead cos of his project. He only chose it because "it gave him the chance to hack things" lol!

Card game? That wouldn't happen to be the one the SQA use as an example A would it?

I thought about chess, but I thought it would involve too much AI.

I would like to do a game of some kind, although it looks like I'm going to have to learn Java for it.

Anybody do dissertations for AH Modern Studies or AH English? If so, what did you do?

Java'd be pretty useful to know really... And you might get brownie points for learning a whole new language!

Games are pretty cool to make... You can sit about in class and play them, and call it research!

I enjoyed sitting on my ass listening to music... Testing, of course...

The card game was 21. I don't think I ever saw the examples!!

I'm not totally sure, but I think it was around 75-80%. It was definately an A anyway.
